Emotional Freedom art classes


  • Very often people have a hard time to express what they feel or can’t find the right words for it. Or maybe they do, but they tend to suppress the emotions being afraid to upset others. In the modern day society the unwritten rule is to show only good emotions, but the bad ones are shamed & ridiculed. Suppressing emotions causes stress, anxiety, and depression that very often are treated by prescription drugs only masking the symptoms, but not addressing the actual cause.

  • Expressing yourself through art is a gentle and healing practice. When you paint, you activate your right side of the brain that is responsible for creativity, imagination, visualization, feelings, emotions, & intuition allowing the left side of the brain (logic, analysis, rationality, words, thinking) to take some rest.

  • PROCESS: During the Emotional Freedom Class, I will be guiding the students into a soothing meditation, slowing down the chatter in the brain, and connecting to their heart centers. We’ll bring up the emotions that are in need to be released, visualize the color palette & then transfer the inner world to the canvas. In that way, students don’t need to dig for the right words activating the logic & explaining themselves. They can fully express themselves using paint & color. They can use their emotional art piece to reflect, to be honest with themselves & to heal when they look at it. At the end of the class, we will have some integration process.

  • No experience is necessary. 18yo & up.
